Frequently Asked Questions:
Are parents allowed to watch classes? Parents are allowed to peek in as long as they are not distracting students. We will work with each child to help them transition into visual & performing arts lessons. There will be a festival for parents and guests to see what students learned.
Does my child need to attend all classes? Students have registered and paid for the entire arts project. Lessons are not pro-rated. We hope students will attend all the lessons.
Is the Festival mandatory? The festival is the primary time for students to show family and friends what they’ve experienced. It is also a non-threatening environment meant to increase the efficacy and confidence of every student. Performing also teaches invaluable lessons on team work and perseverance. We advocate these values.
What should students wear? Clothing that is easy to move in will be fine for each lesson. Students should have a pair of black pants for the festival. (Dance-wear is not required for dance classes during this arts project.) No midriff or words on the derriere. Students with long hair must pull the hair back.
Will there be a family discount? There are no discounts because we are committed to bringing you the best arts lessons at the most economic price.
Are there scholarships available? Scholarships are available once a year for a family in need. There are limited scholarships available.
What are your teacher’s qualifications? Teacher education and discipleships is very important to us at Seville First Baptist Church. Our teacher has worked as professional in the arts for over twenty five years and holds degrees in arts. You can be confident that your child is learning in a contemporary and safe environment.
