Social distancing must be maintained throughout the venue, and seating must be arranged and assigned to allow for 6 feet in each direction between groups of: no more than four individuals, or members of one household (i.e., parents/guardians and dependent children).
First question…WHY? Expressive Arts have a unique opportunity to bring together an intersection of faith and science. It is a chance for theology and reality to meet.
These were students who had previously done 3 minute performance pieces and did not normally struggle. Motivation and love needed to be central to their experience. So we slowed down, focused on details and the way the movements felt. Our class time included playful times of what the students needed.

I envision a time when providers of healthcare, clinical therapists, and patients will include movement plans, art therapies, and expressive therapies in their plan of actions. As this is still such a challenge in terms of being billable, I believe that individual and group expressive arts facilitated programs will partner with clinicians and host opportunities for hurting people to find the steps to their dances.
